GBC AS A NATIONAL
STRATEGIC PROJECT
Being one of a National Strategic Project since its inception in
2020, Grand Batang City is a pillot project from the government
to provide a better opportunity for both foreign and domestic
investment. Fully supported by the Government of the Republic
of Indonesia, Grand Batang City has a designated Presidential
Decree for its development, and given a state-owned land area
of 4,300 ha to be developed.

World Bank reported 33 companies exodus from China because of trade war
with the US but none of those companies choose Indonesia as there
investment localtion. -
The President of Republic of Indonesia established an investment team to
create a strategic national projects to welcome foreign direct investment.

Batang was selected as a National Strategic
Project Location. -
Designing Masterplan of Batang integrated
Industrial Estate. - Establishment of PT KITB.

Commencement of land clearing and
development of basic infrastructure.
- Finalization of land clearing and basic infrastructure for Phase 1,450 Ha.
- Ground Breaking of the first tenant: KCC Glass (South Korea) for 43 Ha.
- Development of multi-level toll access.
